Oops! Hadn’t realised this thread was active. Thanks all, I have learnt a lot, and you guys are very gracious and forgiving.

Alright, since we are in a lull, I shall catch up on process and do a self intro, 2+ years into my time here. I had avoided doing so as I had not known about it until I had posted a significant amount and it seemed self-indulgent to do it at that point.


Basically a working Dad, starting my 5th decade of life. Love my wife dearly dearly dearly, we have so much fun together, its almost criminal.

And my 3 boys…the gems of my life. Exasperating, infuriating, get shouted at a lot, but at the end of the day, a warm smile and hug from them, and life is great again.

Politically, fundamentally feel that we have responsibility for ourselves, to make a better life. But at the same time, feel that the less well-off needs to be given an leg up. Contradiction? Perhaps, but not an egregious one, I hope.

Anyhow, its been great, at some points I had been fearful that Chief was going to de-register my account. After my self-imposed sabbatical, I promise to moderate the tone of my posts, as I believe the message gets across easier if there were no barbs around it. This has been by far the nicest and stimulating general forum I am part off, and its down to you all.
