Mwahahaha XD, I am very impressed by you. You're so young and so motivated to do well, that instead of waiting for your parents to log in, you have logged in yourself. Keep up this spirit and you will go far in life.

I think academic DSA is very difficult because you will be competing with the Gifted Education Program kids. To make it through, you'll probably need to be top in level every year throughout primary school. Few students can achieve this unless they have sustained parental/tutor support. If you're logging in here yourself (and not your Mommy) you probably don't have access to that level of support.

But given your attitude, you will become Someone, someday. Keep trying and GET THAT 260 girl!!

Last year's cut off point was 260. It changes from year to year, but you can take that as a guide.

Based on your rapid improvement, I think if you continue to work hard you will be able to make it into RGS or a school of your choice based on your PSLE scores. As Chenonceau said, it's not easy to get into RGS through DSA. Is there an academic domain you're thinking of applying under? For eg are you exceptionally talented in Math, English, Science or Mother Tongue? If not, then you might want to just focus on your PSLE. Good luck!

THX EVERYONE for your encouragement! I am always very worried of my studies... Since p4, my studies has been improving rapidly but since p5, i realised my result have been dropping from 90+ to 70+. and now p6 sa1 i realised i did quite well and my tchr encouraged me to give it a shot because even if i am not shortlisted for the first round when they get my results, i can take the GAT (general ability test) and she also said that i stand some chances because i have several certificates of distinction like IvP or storytelling competition. But since mayb i do not stand high chance, i think i should just focus on PSLE. THX SO MUCH EVERYONE 😄

Mwahahaha, you have a great attitude. 🙂 A certificate of distinction in IvP is very good. Do you have any other certs or achievements in Science? If you do, you may want to consider applying under that domain.

                      Hi All,

Since everyone here is talking about how the school results affects DSA, I want to know what results are considered good, Eng and Chin: above 85 or must have 90+, Sci and Math: these two subjects must score 95 or above, right?

And I also want to know when we fill in the DSA form, we should provide ca1+sa1(100%) or just sa1 (70%)?

                      Thanks.

Hi meimeitan. A* (91above) for all the subjects is the best.
