The Odyssey Creative Learning Centre

Hi, my son has been with Shaws at Mountbatten since Jan this year and I must say that I am very happy with them. Initially I was a bit hesitant becoz of the construction but the hygiene and cleanliness has not been compromised. The teachers will post photos of each class on a weekly basis. We also received regular updates and emails from the school. The teachers are very caring and my son simply adore them.

Hi,
Thanks for the sharing on Shaws. Do you know if your son finds it warm esp in the afternoons? by the way, how old is your son? -
Er my son only attends half day… so can’t comment on whether it is warm in the afternoon. He is turning 3 in a month time.

For shaws, the children pics are upload to the shaws website and parents have a password to view the pics of their own child’s classs. It is really wonderful way for working parents to know what are your kids doing in school.

Hi insider,
Thanks for your concern. Actually the teacher specially ceated a facebook account for the parents, i.e only parents of the students in the class are added as friends and have access to view the pics. So in a sense, it is not really open to the public. She also did not tag anyone of the children in the pics. -
How is the curriculum at shaws ? is it all learn-thru-play or a bit of play and academic ?

Hi, my girl is also at Odyssey (Alexandra).
Anyone who is at this centre as well? -
Hi winnieng78,
I have visited the Odysse at Alexandra and intend to put my daughter there (N1). What are your experience with this branch?
My husband and I like the place and my kid enjoy her trial class, I talked to her teacher too. The only draw back is that the fee is a bit steep :).
Thanks. -
Hi Sunny,
Could you please share the cost fees? -
Hi winnieng78 and Sunnykid!
I am also considering Odyssey (Alexandra), could you kindly share your experience?
Thanks!!
