SDP happy to work with all opposition parties
With reference to newspaper reports about Mr Tan Jee Say approaching the NSP for a possible merger of both parties, the Singapore Democrats wish to clarify that Mr Tan bumped into Mr Goh Meng Seng and during a casual chat there was mention that opposition should show closer cooperation. This is what the SDP has been advocating all along. We are happy to work with all opposition parties to achieve our objective of strengthening the opposition in Singapore.

The state media should not resort to sensationalism and exaggeration.
:xedfingers:

with all the intensive sharing, debate, discussion
on the GE in just the last 8-9 days, I think all of us
are now more aware of what ?, how? many issues have
affect/ influence us. :whut: šŸ¦† :imconstipated: :gloomy: :scratchhead:

This GE - provide SG an understanding of our neighbours, fellow
Singaporeans in more ways than any other Nation wide activites have done.

AND shaken all of us from our own complacency, all the
more for kiasuparent.com because we are
architect in shaping the future generation of
Singapore. I think we are more than able to do better
because we now know more?!
It \"Action\", :nunchuk: after the dust have settled.

Cheers :celebrate:

Eric Tan, leader of WP East Coast said he has received the offer of 1 NCMP seat for a member of the team. He said he will leave it to the WP to decide whether to accept and if yes, who. But he added it will likely to be him 😢 no Glenda, no Gerald 😢

Give to Nicole better..
😢

She cannot make it la....she is not strategic enough and lacks experience. Actually she is no different from TPL except she speaks more steadily. She has not done enough ground work to really understand the kind of life the less fortunate are leading, she is another ivory tower, just better disguised than TPL. Alot of her talk are still theoretical. Unfortunately I am not convinced by her true ability yet. And if people can be patient to let NS learn the ropes, why not TPL? If she wants to be a better political leader than the ivory tower ones, she needs to live in some extreme conditions in countries like Vietnam first. It would do her good in her future political stride. But I see her potential better than TPL.

images are hilarious and appropriate. :rotflmao:

The caricatures are very well-drawn indeed.

I wish Singapore has a place for more political humour in the form of comics. Mr Brown is providing the daily laughter that I need but some local political comic relief would be great. šŸ˜‰

NSP helper sacked from Jurong Town Council

how ???

She works in Jurong Twon Council but was a NSP supporter. She was caught selling NSP products though I am not sure what was the guidelines behind that during the election. She was fired after the election.

Details found here:

if it is wrongful dismissal, she can sue her employer.
