:gloomy: so sad. I also in the age group, but can't remember doing the stuff mentioned leh.....

Never climbed trees, never play in tong-gang, no shaved ice.
Only watch some boys pay goh-li. tops, spider fight.

All I can remember were downstairs play catching, badminton, tok-ka, zero-point, visit open cinema a few times.........how come my childhood at same era so pathetic ??? 😞 And I no study also...... :?
cwc, you either have a deprived childhood, or an elite childhood. I bet you can play the piano? Elite liao.

Ahhh, the Kreiten sweets. Half caramel, half soda. I remember that eating too much will hurt my tongue. Not that it ever stopped me from continuing.

        sounds familiar... :scratchhead:

You can still get these 'old time' toys at the shops selling party stuff along Middle Road.

I have collected capteh and five stones. My DS enjoys watching my feeble attempts at playing the five stones

I also told MIL not to throw carrom board away. DS loves playing with that.

Remember those card games like Happy Families, Old Maid etc .... Collecting them too

Aiyoh .... I am really walking down memory lane

The rubber quality of captehs these days seem different from the good ole days. Captehs these days are quite difficult to kick... Or... am I less fit now?

They don't make the chaptehs like they used to now.

Uh.... I was crowned ... uh... \"chapteh queen\" in school.  could kick non-stop up to 200 times. Forward, backward also can.

Now, is a different story
