Are P1 to P3 lessons taught in afternoon session?

Only want to add that since school is going single session in 2013 (correct??) AM/PM session distinction will not matter from then. Hope this helps!

Yes I think it is not going to be that soon in 2013. Should be 2016.

My child would be going to Barrage on Wednesday? Wonder what they should pack for the excursion. Was told that they would still have spelling after the excursion. Its their PE day that day too, thus should they be wearing uniform or pe attire and would the normal classes resume after they returned from the excursion?

Hi marmum, my DS also going for marina barrage on wednesday and also having PE and spelling on that day too...haha...maybe they are in the same class.

I'll be letting DS wearing PE attire...err no instructions that cannot wear right? Anyway nowadays weather is very hot (and marina barrage is a very hot place) and if DS wears the school uniform, it'll be very hot for him. Would also pack a small towel to clean off sweat, a disposable rain coat and water bottle.

Understand that normal classes resume after the trip, so I guess DS would have spelling after that.

                        From what I understand:

                        1) P1 and P2 in afternoon session, the rest in morning. When in P3, the class size increase, so I guess that’s why they can squeeze P3-P6 in 1 session. Kids also take up CCA from P3 onwards, in the afternoons after lesson.
                        2) Pei Chun going single session in 2016, confirmed by P during orientation, unless there are changes we are not aware of
                        3) Regarding CCA that help kids to go to Sec school, I think as long as your kid excel, any CCA can help in DSA. However, need to see which sec school you are targeting at and also the talent of the child.
