My gal has been attending tat sch since PG. It was a kindergarten when she attended tat sch 2yrs ago but last yr it has been converted into CC.

Yes, its a v academic driven sch.
My gal can read chinese words quite well when she is in N1. All taught by her chinese teacher.
She is currently in N2 n she is able to do "+".
But i find their eng not as gd as other church sch.

          The principal is a Malay.
If not wrong all their chinese teacher r from China.

            Shutter,

How do you feel about the way that Ichiban is being run then?
My Dd is still rejecting school. I am worried that it will be worse after the school holidays. Two minded about changing schools now.
Anyway, ichiban does not have vacancy for pre-nursery now.

Maybe u wan to chk w her y she is rejecting school?

Ur Dd is 3yrs old rite? She should be in N1 now.
My Dd is in N2 n sometimes she will also tells me tat she doesnt wan to go sch cos teacher scolds her. But overall she is ok

Ichiban is really v academic driven n can be stressful to the kid n parents if the child cant cope.
My gal cant speak chinese @ all when she join Ichiban @ 2yrs old. Now she still speak like angmo but can read chinese v well. They r learning to read short sentences now etc "Hong She de hua" - Red flower. My gal got no problem reading them.
              They r v gd @ teaching chinese.
Maths i thk also not bad considering she can do 11+5 @ N2 level.
They started phonics only tis yr so her eng still isnt v gd.

They used to provide 1 week free trial but not sure if they still has tis service.
U can put her on waiting list if u r really keen.

My niece is currently w Little Wonder Montesorri.
Seem like its quite a gd sch as well. If not wrong she is learning Letterland phonics @ PG level now.
Maybe u would like to chk w tat CC.
Its $900 for full day b4 sub
