Remember those days when Tea Dances and Mobile Discos were popular?

I recall those super rich RI, SJI and ACS boys used to hold functions in their huge mansions/bungalows and penthouses, after O-levels and during A-levels... πŸ˜‰

Ah... Oshin reminds me of another Jap serial about a teenage girl that got leukemia at the start of the show... and the whole show was about how she was dying... and dying... and dying... and I don't even remember now whether she died anot because it was so bad (to me), yet it drew thousands of viewers who tuned in faithfully each night just to see if she would finally die. :slapshead: Most men tune in just for eye candy (that teenage actress was gorgeous).

Anyone remembers the name of this show?

Yes, 山口百惠 is so sweet looking... and I think she married one of the lead actor that she acted with... Very good looking guy (cannot remember his name). Not sure if they are still married though. These actors and actresses keep changing partners. πŸ˜‰

they are still happily married and she happily retired to be a good wife and mother. They have 2 sons I think. She was photographed a couple of years back during her youngest son's graduation ceremony and looked kinda plump

Gosh, I just realised that I have missed quite a bit in this thread. Think the last time I read this read was probably around page 15 or so!

Someone mentioned about zero point, that's the one with one string of rubber bands strung together, what about the one with rubber bands strung together but formed a big circle instead? Two people would 'wear' the big circle, starting from the angkles and then knees, waist etc, very much like zero point, but two rolls of 'ropes' instead of one.

Anyone has any idea what it was called then or is there anyone who knows what I am talking about?
Friend....I was trying so hard to avoid posting in this thread because everything discussed was so familiar.... :nailbite: :nailbite: :nailbite: :whut: :itwasntme:

used to buy 5 cents of these and the auntie would used newspapers to wrap them up, I think there were about 10 pcs then.
Now Khong Guan is still selling them in a pack, probably $1+

can anyone remember in those days the Milkmaid condensed milk 纒字牛ε₯Άcan with the paper wrapper and you can peel if off to get a collection of all kinds of fish pictures ? one picture one wrapper

                  Yeah ....
                  Think Got Bird ....
                  And Mammals Series too ....

Lolz... this thread is really scratching my brain in places I have forgotten I had. Really heart warming to \"suddenly remember\" all the things that I had taken for granted previously and put in sharp relief the fact that they are now gone forever πŸ˜„ Like the Solvil Titus ads... It's ok that we don't have it now... at least we can relive our experiences that are forever locked away safely in the deepest recesses of our very being.

Do you remember the Donny and Marie Osmond Show? Good clean fun with music and skits.

I loved that show and would faithfully watched the repeat telecast every week at 11pm..
Used to be crazy about Jay-tall and handsome and his toothy smile. Maybe he is a grandpa now
