=ya lor..and my dd asked me why I spend so much time revising Science with her compare to other subject...I used those notes that are provided in a Science assessment and revision book which I bought...but as it combine with p4 stuff also..so don't know which part to skip... :skeptical: ..plus my dd being the girlish type.. trying hard to impart the science way of thinking into her brain is pretty 'challenging'.. πŸ˜“

Wow... potential information overload. Stress stress.

Yes... I realised that not everyone is build for science πŸ˜‰ For me, I believe I've a mental block. I also realised through the observation of people around me that most of them are strong in science but weak in numbers. These 2 seems to be opposite. There are only a handful of scientists who are numeric. Most just dislike numbers just like how I dislike science.

Yes, this observation is also true.

In my course of work, the folks are all of science background and at least masters degree & above. But majority are Dr who and who and graduate from top unis in the world. When I talk to them about figures, they are like mental block. Only 5% are numeric type. Maybe the more science focus they are, the less numeric they become. I really wonder at the correlation as imagine we've NUS high school of maths and science. Strange strange..

            Hi,

I am new here and my gal will be entering maha bodhi next yr P1. Can anybody advise me on the session and is anybody staying around bedok reservoir? do you let your child take the school bus? does the school bus pick up very early and drop off late?
also, are we allowed to be in the school for the first few days to ensure that they know how to buy food?
            any advise is greatly appreciated!

:welcome: I also have a P1 entering MBS next year.

Any other existing parents as well? Have you guys received the phase 1 registration confirmation from the school?

            Hi MMM,
My ds2 is also going p1 next year. Just found the p1 registration form in ds1's bag this morning.

Arrrgggg... asked my hubby to make a copy of the completed form at his office as our home printer cum copier was out of order, and he actually left the form in office. It's such an impt form and he has no sense of urgency. Often things left in his office goes missing in his pile of papers and found only after the due date. Now I cannot ask DS1 to submit the form on Mon

                      Hi ciheal,

Think from this year onwards, the p1 and p2s only have SA 2 which is the yr end exam. The rest of the year, the school is doing holistic assessment where there are quite a number of bite-size tests, show & tell, poem recitation etc.

lostbunny - this year only p2 has sa2 so as to ease them into p3 next year where there will be ca1&2 and sa1&2. don’t think p1 has sa2 this year. as for next year, am not so sure. the system is forever changing.
