KPs can be used for auctions, with the next two coming up in June. There are two ipads to be won in those auctions.

On the contrary, 1000KPs will not bring you to the next level, but if you hit 1000 posts, you will be rewarded with 2000KPs for a start. Subsequent promotion to the next level will only earn you 1000KPs. 2000KPs are only awarded at 1000, 6000 and 12000 posts. Hope that helps.

So for a start, post more to hit the 1000 post count first.
