Ok, back to the topic.

Anyone remembers this Singer sewing machine which our mummies used back in those days?

Sewing machine could be tucked into the box to make a table top. Interesting!

I have one of them in my room and it's still in working condition! :dancing: No, I can't sew, (returned all my sewing techniques to my Home Econs teacher) but it's very useful for mending this and that.

Wow, you still have them? It's antique now. :celebrate:

My mum used to have this but she changed to the auto type (where you use your right foot to step on it, instead of both legs on the pedal) somewhere in the 80s or 90s... Don't know what happened to her old sewing machine.

I remembered my mum used to have one that \"transformed\" into the small \"cupboard\" only - very amazing. That was her dowry. Now I wonder if it is still around...... :scratchhead:

                    anyone still remember penpal?

i was sending a card out to a friend yesterday and was commented by my nephew that in this era still got people use \"slow mail\"
suddenly remember abt penpal, children nowadays will not appreciate penpal or even send out cards to friends, felt so sad that there is no more such thing as penpal.

btw, when i mentioned penpal to my nephew, he said he only heard of paypal
Yes, I used to have penpals too. Like to receive the mails and cut the foreign stamps from the envelope - collect stamps. Very happy when receive postcard from penpal too - also collect postcards.

What do kids collect nowadays - pokemon cards, animal kaizer cards?
