I heard that Henry Park is going to reduce intake for this year registration (for next year intake). Is it true?

I'm a newbie to this forum. I'm a ex-HPPS student. My son is born in 2007. I'd like to ask if anyone can enlighten me how i can get my son into the school? Would he be guaranteed a place under phase 2A2? What must i do now? Must i be a parent-volunteer?

I need some help as i'm totally new in this area!

Since you are ex-student and non-alumni, you qualify already under 2A2. Just dig out your report book/any evidence that you were from that school. based on past stats, you have nothing to worry about. Be at the school on one of the days for 2A2 registration - MUST not miss those dates else you will fall under 2C (there is no back dating). There is no first come first get in for 2A2 - nonid to rush for 1st one in the queue also.

If you are extremely ks, can check out application from alumni (may have to pay fee etc). Alumni qualifies for 2A1 (this phase happens a few days before 2A2).

You don't have to be a parent volunteer or do any other things.

My gal is in P2 this year. Next year HPPS will move to RJC because HPPS will be doing renovation. By the time they are done with the renovation, my gal would probably have finished PSLE. My gal won’t be able to enjoy the new facilities.

My gal enjoys her school life so far. There are quite a few good teachers in the lower primary level. Upper level not so sure.

Just saw from the MOE website, there is an reduced intake for this year compared to the past few years. The intake now will be 300 instead of 330.

Hi, read from here that Henry Park is going on single session next year but MOE website states the sch is still on a partial single approach (ie. P1/2 in the afternoon). Anyone can confirm?
