      and then there's always this indian old man balancing a huge tray on his head, selling prawn crackers :? or what do u call that :scratchhead:

      u know those stuff eaten with green chilli, then inside the so call cracker, gt this cooked prawns with their shells....

        I lived in a kampong and the neighbours would sell homecooked stuff like curry puffs, fried noodles, kueh, jelly etc and went around the kampong selling their stuff


        i dun lived in kampong....but still there were quite a number of \"mobile hawkers\" at diff time of the day.
        if one wanna.... could eat throughout the day :please:

        oh yes, i forgot abt the curry puffs, sold by a malay boy.


        Yes, yes, I remember there was a man who would ride his bicycle around the estate I lived in and sell kaya bread, those triangular curry puffs, butter/fruit cake etc .... :drool:

        And the Magnolia ice cream man who would ride his 3 wheeled motobike (what do you call them??)

            there were rubber trees opposite my house so everyday could hear the cracking/popping sound and we would run to see where the seeds had dropped. We then rubbed the seeds on the floor to get heated up and pressed on the body of those unsuspecting friends and they would jumped up screaming... :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
