      Happy Mama:
I loved eating this POTONG ice cream when I was a child, and I still do now. Taste hasn't changed much, but price has definitely gone up. Used to be like 10 cents? Now it costs almost $1.

recent reports on people taking train rides before the railway station officially close down in july. I remember the 1st time I took was in mid 70s to KL. The train left Singapore at 10.30pm and reached KL around 5am. Ist time so suaku taking train and was so excited I couldn't sleep and spent my time hitting the cockroaches running around. Next 2 rides to Malaysia were taken early 80s and late 80s.

            Hmmmmmmmm ....

Used to eat them when I was young and in fact, I am munching on one packet as I post this! :celebrate:

Think these are about the only things which have not increased much in price. Bought 2 packets, 80cents a packet, still considered cheap for current standard! :dancing:
