OK... if the difference between the ayes and the nays is 10 before 12am tonight, the thread will continue till this Sunday. We are a democracy, no?

it is a 'walk over' already

CKS already declared this thread will go on and on and on
Whatever it is, I will always choose to trust MM Lee's viewpoints, not because I blindly do so but I believe he is a person who does put in deep thoughts before he says something and he has a heart for Singapore.

but for his saying that \"Aljunied has five years to live and repent\"
wonder did he put in deep thoughts b4 saying it ??

wonder these harsh words and smell of arrogance caused how many voters to swing to the opp side.

Red portion, true..

Blue portion, is an unknown.

Who can really tell what are the real intentions of politicians?

They may not welcome WP.. but do they really want to keep GY? Who knows for sure? If LSS can \"migrate\" to EC GRC, a safe zone, why GY cannot?

Anyway.. different pple can hv different views.. there's no definite right or wrong answer..
Yes, the blue portion is unknown,
as we aren’t be able to tell whether Aljunied residents have 5 years to live and repent..... till 5 yrs is up. πŸ˜‰

also, juz like what u had mentioned ....we do not know of any intentions......
if any…...as to why GY was not in the safe zone.

my point is that with such harsh words from his mouth,
would certainly backfire, losing some of his respect.
even kids (no need to be above 21 of age) can tell what he was tryng to imply.

by denying the oppo a proper office, it is doing the oppo a favour

why ? because they make the oppo more cost efficient, and make the PAP wards look like wasting money -- that is why their conservancy charges are higher than in oppo wards....they said potong pasir has the lowest conservancy charges, right ? someone can verify ?
to think abt it, actually having PMS at void decks has another added advantage......
more publicity for the opp........ πŸ˜‰
