sometimes bus so crowded I had to stand on the steps and held on for dear life with the wind blowing at my hair...

at night the lights are those yellowish small bulbs type, kind of dim
Kekekke... actually I prefer to stand on the steps... no need to fight the crowd to get to the entrance! Remember how they \"improved\" the \"bell-ring\" from single round buttons along the side of the bus to a single rubber strip that runs on the ceiling along the aisle? It was quite smart... just a piece of wire and it allows everyone thoughout the bus to beep the driver.

me too....i still have these coins and the old dollar notes[/quote]Noticed quite a few circulating during the economic crisis. Seemed like people got no choice but to dig deeply into their savings, even using old notes and coins which I'm sure they really wanted to keep as souvenir .

i remember there was this joke (abt the old bus without door)
Late at night, Miss Lady saw the bus coming and quickly board it.
When she sat down she realised there was no one in it and no driver!
how did the bus move?? She screamed at the top of her lungs, only to realise that the bus was spoilt and everyone was behind pushing it :rotflmao:
                        :offtopic:
Then how she board the bus in the first place :? 🀷 :scratchhead:
