I think the national leaders of Singapore has no dignity since the pay is going to be reviewed and also even $4m a year is peanut compared with the Fortune 500 or Forbes listed richest best paid CEO in the world. PM and his minsters' pay should now be pegged to the richest in the world, else who would want to listen to Singapore....imagine you go to attend meeting at the UN, nobody going to 'hew' you....lidat cannot lar, no dignity. no paiseh no paiseh, only smaller by 1/6th[/quote]where got! my peanut is median size, still below SGD3,000/month now. but unlike some people, I got no porblem to lim kopi with CEOs from Exxon, Shell, Microsoft. my dignity don't depend on the size of other people peanut. :evil:

Further imagine my pastor told the congregation (which happen to include a few top businessman in SG): peg my pay to the top income earners in the congregation. Otherwise, nobody will listen to me....!


Whilst I don't believe church workers/pastors should be paid peanuts (literally), never in my dream have I imagine the pay should be peg to the top income earner attending the church.

At that point, I taboleh tahan, so i ask auntie, \"eh, my boss car much bigger than your motorbike leh. why you never listen to him?\" she stare at me and say \"WHAT!\"
