Some schools oredi closed for registration since Jan, some may be Jun. You can apply 1st before is too late. Just nice, tomorrow Saturday. As for qs, tat is only after P1 registration over, so still got time to ask around.

Rulang closed Jun, not too sure whether they change tis yr. Can call and go tomorrow. Last yr they select 50 out of 2XX, so u know the toughness.

Based on previous records, anyone know under phase 2b need balloting?

Dun know how the parents get chosen. I didn’t have the time to ask. But I heard her HB now is doing the morning traffic.


Last 2 yrs, balloting beyond 2km for phase 2B.

Hi Starz,
two of my colleagues are to be interviewed on 1st June. ( for the PV). This year, there are already 260 applicants for PV, only 50 will be selected. One is a face-to-face interview, then another will be an e-mail interview. you may have to call RL to ask if the PV application is closed.

anyone of u got into as PV thr phase 2B?

What are the tasks of PV if selected? need special skills to be selected?
what will they ask during the interview?

My dd went in through phase 2B. If I’m not mistaken, parents education background is one of their consideration. I was told that a panel of 13 people (Principal, deputies, HOD, etc…) will vote on each application and if then ranked ( a bit like beauty peagent).


As far as I know, all the PV gets a place. All the best.

Hi Starz,

My DS entered RL through phase 2B. In my application form, i informed them of my skills etc... but when i got my PV duty, it was typing other schools science papers. none related to the skills I indicated in the form.
Other PVs I knew, did library duties, bringing the children to swimming classes etc.

They will not ask any questions at the interview. They'll see you in person, clarify with you what you wrote in application form.
