        my granny wore one on her hand back in those days.
        jade is worn as a protection bi xie (against evil)
        I remembered my grandmother wore one jade bangle for many years and it gradually turned greener as the years passed by.
        After she passed away and cremated, amongst her ashes was her jade bangle which was still intact and no change in colour at all. That was a hallmark of a very good quality jade
