PM Lee says we are in a new era.

Government leaders must listen hard to the electorate, and fell how they feel.

Therefore we humbly request that Minister Heng will sit for PSLE, O level & A level this year, and please let us know how he scores .....

That would be fun .........to measure how the Education minister performs now compared to his time ..... :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

is he require to take GEP as well? oh ya... not to forget N level and IB....

That Would Be TOO MUCH for Sanity ....

If his t-score is below 280 then he has no right to tell the primary school students what to do. :nailbite:

Hence, he needs a big fat salary so that he will have the dignity to talk down to the principals. :celebrate:

Given his calibre, he should be the top student.

I don't think principals earn so so much that he require a fat salary to have the diginity. Hmm, if pay affect the diginity to talk to the people below, then education minister will get the least right?? :rotflmao: Or any other department, the people the minister meet has lower pay? :scratchhead:

Civility is the basis for constructive discussions.

The purpose of this thread is a serious attempt by the thread starter in seeking reforms to the way we are educating our children in Primary schools. It does not make sense to lambast our new education minister for problems which are not even created by himself. It would be difficult for him to take parentsโ€™ opinions seriously if our community cannot bring ourselves above gutter politicking.

Just thought of something, if our education system does not change, maybe in the future - the best birthday present for a one yr old kid is getting the best tutor to start tutoring the kid after the 1st yr birthday.

For truely KS parents, it will be after 4 months old

We are just airing.....if wish to formally present our thoughts to him, I doubt we will express our thoughts in such a checky manner.

Are there plans to have a dialogue with him/ present our suggestions to the minister? If so, it's best to state that upfront in the thread, so that the parents will put on their adult hats and input suggestions in a more \"professional\" manner.

Or maybe we need another platform to do so as this forum is such a cozy place that we are not always proper. ๐Ÿ˜‰

more like tongue in cheek comments lah

i am sure the education minister also gets this kind of joke from those around him

i was talking to someone from one of the ministry recently and someone next to me did not know who was the person i was talking to .... and he just blared out all his negative criticism of that ministry without mincing his words, thinking that i was just talking to another friend.... wow, honest feedback .......lol

                        I was joking only.

But look like MG CCS who so used to order soldiers around wanna put a stop to these nonsenses floating on the internet. Another classic - talk down approach.

Nothing going to change all is wayanging only.

                        Iโ€™m still joking only.
