          Hi Augmum,

          I think so. It’s >80 4.0, >70 3.6, >65 3.2, >60 2.8 etc… Same?

            OIC. Bedokid's dd must have shown promise in triple science to be offered it despite opting for double science.

              almost similar, except in DHS, there is no in-between GPA for 65 and 55 marks.
              RGS grading is fairer....... :please:

              A+= GPA 4.0 for 80 and above
              A = GPA of 3.6 for 70 - 79
              B = GPA of 2.8 for 60 – 69
              C = GPA of 2.0 for 50 – 59

                the sch also looks for pupils' potential in the subj chosen.....
                think bedokid's dd did better in science subj than in humanities related subj.

                isit so......bedokid ??

                  Hi Augmum and jtoh, my daughter was actually afraid that she couldn't cope with triple science(though she was qualified with a gpa of 3.2 last year) especially physics, so she opted for double sciences(chem and bio) I think not many students opted for this two sciences combination so the school offered her the triple sciences........just to remind those sec.two students, if your result may not hit 3.2gpa but of course not far from it, can 'ka ka' opt for triple science, the chances are quite high cos ten classes out of thirteen classes were offered triple sciences last year...... :lol: :lol: :lol:

                    10 out of 13 classes is a lot of triple science classes. So you must score minimum 3.2 to apply for triple science?

                        but....but...
                        in this way, how abt classes for chem, bio combo and
                        classes for chem,physics combo.....
                        in addition to the above, there are already 3 classes which offered 7 units.... (excluding the \"O\" level class)
                        u mean nobody takes double science and double humanities? :?

                        althogether there are only 13 classes, right?? pl enlighten......
