Hey Mummies,

Try to see if you can still get hold of this title by Mabel Cheong. Title is 'Quick Revision Science Notes & Questions'. By EPH. Although it doesn't quite provide questions for the deep analytical thinking of exam questions, I feel that it's sufficient for P3-4 and maybe a little of P5. Just asked son to get the chapter on 'Plant Systems' done, and he told me he hasn't been taught Plant Transport System :faint: BTW, this book is for P3.

Another reason is to get K2 books for DD2 - she finished those that I bought so now to \"occupies her time at home\" :evil:, must get some new ones ..Wanna share with parents of K2 an EPH assessment book that I found quite good but can't find a thread to post to leh :scratchhead: Any idea where I can do it?

You can get the Science assessment end of the year during Bookfest.
P3 should not be teaching Plant Systems yet.

:rotflmao: Haha....It is my DD2 the one requesting for more assessment books:evil:

Feel guilty as busy at work and no time to bring the kids out even it is school holidays :sad: ....so besides, T.V., fun-play and the occasional squabble among the 3 of them, both DDs will spend time doing assessment books. DD1 will guide DD2 and leave the difficult parts till mummy comes home at night.

Everywhere is crowded now that it's the holidays. Very sian to see many people around when I can normally going places off-peak. I have a phobia for crowds.
I get my kids to do 1 hour of work every morn before we go to mum's place. They will have to take a nap in the afternoon.
My gal in P1 was taught to write compo (using 2 pic)...stuff like paragraph and simple sentences.

Best that based on what you think your kid needs, choose the appropriate one for him / her. Difficult to advise based on titles as you need to look thru' the books to have a better feel as you know your kid's strength / weakness the best. Some people will say this book is good, but it may be more suitable for kids who already have certain foundation. If given to another kid whose foundation is weaker, it does not help.
