So far my gal is quite happy at school with spelling and \"ting xie\". The teachers seems nice cos kids get to pen down their activities in the \"let's chat\" book so that the teachers can get to know the kid more thru such activities.

Recently the school held the sport days during National Day Event and my gal's team came in first. 😄

As for academic, it is still too early to say since she is only in Pri 1.

        yuntlh:
Am interest on enroll my daug on the 2012 Pri 1 with this sch. But trying to find out more on the academic and discipline level. Any one to share your view

It was fun! The goodie bag was worth more than $2. Elderly folks can enjoy the performance presented by the childrens. Dances/Choir etc

There were stalls been set up for games and all donations were for needy children.

The best part was the lightening up of the lantern (KONG MING DENG) into the sky.

I wana say - Thank You Principal for letting the kids have a wonderful time.

I know parents with kids there. It’s quite a happy school with balance of academic and character.

I know there’s A special learning support class for weaker children in p1 to help them catch up with their peers. One of the schools on my list if I’m staying in the area when my boy goes p1.

                Hi all,

My son will be in the P1 registration for next year enrolment.
I emailed to Punggol Primary, and they immediately listed down their PSLE results for past three years. I have to say I am quite impressed. I don’t know about their highest score, but for me, the individual subject and overall passing rate are more important, showed how well balanced the school is.
Their passing rate for main stream is around 98% for past two years, quite impressive, individual subjects at 93% average.
I will definitely put Punggol Primary as my first choice, cos results show the calibre of the teachers.

Dear all - both my kids are in Punggol. So far my kids enjoy their study there. There is a buddy reading system whereby my gal is helping those P1 child who is weak in English to read.

                    Hi hdbtaitai8,

                    Thanks for the valuable info.
I am considering Punggol as my first choice over HIPS.
Do you put your kids in the Student Care centre around the school or school bus?

                      Hi Parents,

Is this school operating in one or two session?

                      Hi Darrengct,
At first, i was considering HIPS as my first choice but noticed that the school is quite academic oriented and too "china". I prefer a well balanced school in term of academic & CCA. Thus, Punggol might be a better choice. Can you tell me why Punggol is your first choice over HIPS?

                        Hi Melody,

I feel HIPS too Cina too. I guess cos its SAP school. Punggol is double sessions, which I don't quite like. To me, I don't want to push my son too hard too fast. if u want, we can chat more over MSN. My id is [email protected]
