Hi Parents,I was a graduant from Mee Toh School last year,2010. My teacher last year was pretty good,a little fierce,but trust me,i failed my Mathematics continuously last year(p6) with grades like ‘D’ , ‘E’. But she was really kind and gave the bunch of us who failed remedial and i got a ‘C’ which is pass in PSLE. Homework–for lower primary i think is quite average to handle. Notice: P4 to P5 is a great jump. There is subject based banding too. Also,if your child takes Higher mother tongue+4 standard subjects @ P5, your child should get at least ‘A’ grade for chinese and at least PASS for HCL. For my batch,whoever don’t meet the requirements must ‘drop’ HCL.

mts math papers are super tough! I dont understand why must set so many WORDY(lengthy) questions at P3? I think the math paper got many olympiad type of qns. but in sch only practice My PALs workbook and bring home very thin worksheets to practice at home. then summore no remedial for borderline students. very worried for my kids in mts.

Hi, anyone with kids borned in year 06 and has registered for PV with Mee Toh? Wanna ask if you all received call up from them? I registered with them last July and till now no call from them yet. Wondering if it’s a bit late already.

I got a call in May and have started PV for the last 3 days of the term before school holiday...

Have to do PV for half a year.

Is it really that hard to get into this school? I think I will most likely to be able to register my gal under 2C as i am not a PV, MP, or VIP… is it too late to do athg to increase my chance?

Can anyone comment on the quality of meetoh teachers? they have a rather new principal and vice principal, are they good?

Is there any website or link that can view the past few year of primary1 school’s vacancy amount and register for all phases? this can help me to evaluate whether doing PV is worthwhile or not.

Does Mee Toh need to interview parents who apply for PV?

if yes, what questions do they ask?
My son is 3yrs old this year, is it the right time to apply for PV now or wait until next year Jul then apply for PV?
