M'sia starts fingerprinting visitors?
-
Oh no, I’m heading in this weekend… the fingerprinting has already been implemented at their airports… I thought it wouldn;t be neccessary for drive - ins… even SG gave up on it already… why r they starting that now? :S
-
i heard some people encountered wkends where the walk-ins have to wait for 3hrs!
-
Usually if I go during weekdays, during working hours (non lunch), it’s very fast. Just happened when they start this, the bridge is filled with waiting cars. I cannot imagine weekends, no guts to try.

To better protect Malaysia, they should do the following :
1. impose visa requirements for all visitors, proof of financial ability etc
2. finger print all 10 fingers ( in case some fingers got chopped off while being robbed in Malaysia and still got some fingers left to prove your identity)
3. require confirmed hotel booking and confirmed return air ticket (if by air)
4. instant photo-taking & photo recognition at immigration counter like in China
5. photo-taking of car registration number plate and link it to your passport at the port of entry (toll booth) like in China, toll tickets issued by PLUS must have passport number and car number in case you don't pay traffic fines
6. satellite tracking of all SG cars in Malaysia and link it to your passport when you enter by car :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: -

Good suggestion...that's the way to kill tourism and make sure Singaporeans keep their money in SG. :boogie: :boogie:To better protect Malaysia, they should do the following :

when I was in china, I took care not to smile too brightly. A bit scared they might pull me into a room and do thorough checking for controlled substance.
