      This is traditional peanut candy right? Outside crispy, inside crumbly. Teochew we call it kong tng, I think.

      Yes, it's called gong tang (in chinese). My fave snack. Now i like the Glory brand.

            The kong tng I know has big pieces of peanuts on the outside, and sticky sweet candy holding these together. Very hard and crunchy.

              if u like traditional snack such as the peanut cake, u can get them at this shop by chinatown point, facing the foodcentre.

Come to think of it, I remember my Dad referring to all of these version of peanut candies as Kong Tng.

                    the kong tng must be fresh and crunchy on the outside otherwise it will get stuck on your teeth
