      I still keep my sec school annual for memory sake.
      Too bad primary school no chance to take class photos at all 😒
      But look at the attap roof behind them, if it was the school, it must be really cooling (maybe the MOE should consider building them, :evil: )

          must be very very cheap in today's dollars
          I remembered my father's friend bought a 3-room flat in Toa Payoh for $7,600 in the 70s :yikes: and another bought a 3-storey terrace house for $25,000 during the same time :yikes:

              wow :yikes: if they sell them off now earn big bucks...
              rem recently there was a news a house in marine parade selling at 100milion... it was abt 100 yr old. the great great grandchildren rich liao if the house was sold[/quote]I think the toa payoh flat could have been torn down and rebuilt but I know the terrace house still existing-cost about $1.5M now :oops:

                  hv any one here learn how to wrap the dumplings before :?
                  i used to kaypo & ask my granny to teach me.
                  she arrange the leaves in her hands, i tried to do the same
                  she scoop 1 spoon of rice, i did the same
                  then after every ingredients were put in...
                  i fumble with the art of tying

                  all the ingredients dropped out when they were cooking in the pot :lol:

                  My Mum ....
                  She Ask Me to Practice Wrapping With ....
                  Sand First!

                      now some bride appeared naked in wedding shoots bec they want to 'do something different' and for 'memory sake' :yikes: They have no qualms showing the photos to family and relatives. There was 1 couple who hang the naked wedding photo in their living room (saw from newspaper)
