My fav is the one in Tiong Bahru market. Too bad the owner split stall. One stall has the nice kweh, while the other stall has the nice chai po. So 😢 .

Now have to buy from both stalls to have the best chwee kweh combination.

Nowadays, banana leaf is considered high class becos shortage and have to pay more for it. Olden days, banana leaves in abundance and cheaper than using newspaper or brown paper. Every other type of food also wrap with banana leaves.
