ooooo so that's the use of the.... turban??

Firstly I think he had to wear a turban for being an Indian and secondly, I think the turban acted as a protection for his head when he carried the load on the head.[/quote]i thot wearing the turban is part of their religion

maybe, the turban could be flat at the top so the tray can balance better,
anyway he was the only one around selling the kachang-puteh so wherever he went, the children would crowd around him

So the mock-up satay sticks survive so many years.... I am sure the taste have changed over the years....it was one of the fave snacks during recess time in primary school.... :boogie:

the stick was very sticky with the thick gooey gravy

I used to eat the sweet coating after finsh the \"satay\"

anyone been to pegu road dental clinic?

i always dread gg to that clinic becos the rows & rows of dental chairs ( like the one above) scare me.

u register on the 1st floor & wait there. then they will annouce eg: number 10-20 pls proceed upstairs

u go up & wait again. then u will be called & lead to the dentist. so many of them... :nailbite:
