I have not tried feng shui before but I believe in living well and keeping the environment well and balanced. If we take care to do these maintenance, then all will be well. Of course it is easier said than done so perhaps this is where feng shui help comes in...


For example, I have no clue about hanging the 八骏图 in a specific manner but common sense led me to hang it correctly and I have no clue about fountains but I just like to have one inside the house to bring me the inner peace when I listen to the sound of running water. So I think I use alot of common sense as of now. I am not sure if in future I will venture into professional help but the guy whom i spoke to about a new water feature I like to put in another corner of my house promised to offer some fs advice. I just smiled at the offer.

Actually a good FS Master will not base on all the readings blindly., he will involve Science logic and common sense as well. For those who has some knowledge on FS, you will realize that it really involves Science and common sense too.

does anyone have their house feng shui \"seen\" by some prof people and ask them how to arrange the things at home? Is it yearly must do it?

Supposed to be a yearly affair bcoz every year the \"stars\" are different or sthg like that..

There is 2 parts.. 1 is r/s between the place and the occupants. This is done only once, and the arrangement is permanent.

the other 1 is the individual's feng shui, and it changes every year. so the arrangements is not permanent.

I feel that, a true master should not be selling any \"items\". Instead, he will list out all the items and the placements and ask you to buy yourself. If you got no clue, he can recommend you a place and you can buy it yourself.

I will check yearly with a Master…and he will draw on my floor plan, basically what items should be placed and the locations…I used back the almost same items every year…just change directions only

the master I know of only charges $88… and never sell anything, just list out and told us to buy ourselves…


Then she mentioned something about the lift and the stairs… that modern design with the lift or stairs just beside the door is not very good… money easy to leak… The better design is the older 3rm flat when the lift is "behind" the door or sthg like that.

last time the Govt build a lot of old design 3rm flats… SG prospers and generally pple become richer and upgrade to bigger flats…

Nowadays, the new design FS not so good… then a lot of pple complain that income never go up, things getting more unaffordable etc etc…

OMG..my front door facing staircase..no wonder pocket big hole..my previous house lift behind our unit..now think abt it..last time really better than current :stupid:

mine unit is the 3rd unit away from the life, facing another unit directly…

those door-to-door houses got prob lor, since got both lift and stairs :?

Yup.. right is lift left is stairs.. directly at the doorstep.. the money can't wait to flow out........

The 3rm flat design is like.. after walking out of main door.. must turn left or right and then turn again towards the lift.. like big U-turn like that.. she says this type better..

Yes, i had mine seen by a prof before.
even before i bot a hse, i seek for advice....
there was one hse which we liked it very much....
but too bad....the floor plan is of a weird shape,
was advised better not to stay in such a hse.....so we decided to forgo it.

ya....the basic principle behind Feng Shui is to maniplate one's physical environment in a way that
maximizes the positive flow of the universal life force rather than the negative.
and some of the logics are juz common sense......

read in a fs mag that why Sg was flooded coz of the boat on top of the 3 pillars... below must have water so it causes flood... i wonder how true...

oh.....u juz remind me of hong kong.....
lots of Hk buildings/nfrastructures are built in accordance to FS....
and there are interetsing stories behind each ..........
