Yes, Q are sorted topic by topic, no indication of the year....a
and also heard that not ALL questions are included in the book.

      Hi Augmum,

      Thanks for sharing 🙂

So ... have you heard of any parents bought the PSLE past year papers by year (in the exact format taken by students during that year)?

I will ask my friend to go Popular to buy this first as I think it is still useful.

Hmm ... just thought of one question ... is it available for all core subjects (English, Chinese, Maths and Sci)?

Some questions will not be published as they may be reused in another year in the future. So it's not possible to get a full set of psle papers with all questions intact. There are booklets for all 4 core subjects
and HMT. Available at all Popular.

You can get past psle papers in popular bookstore, but some ques are modified. Last yr, my dd’s school even encourage students to buy. quite cheap, $4 including ans key.

Thanks to all the parents answering my queries on past years PSLE papers. Finally saw it at Popular. Yes, it costs only about $4 including answer keys.

I also saw some thick PSLE files in Popular (seem to be photostat copies with own binding ... i.e., not via publisher). If I recall correctly, for Maths, there are Book A + Book B + Book C (each book costs more than $40) ... one of the books is for \"most\" challenging questions.

They are wrapped so I did not see the contents inside. Any parents bought these files? Is it the entire PSLE paper? Thanks.

Hi coast, you can never get the entire actual psle paper. The practice psle paper are papers with psle format, the past psle papers are selected actual psle qns, but not the entire paper. Some qns will never be revealed, maybe for recycling purposes.

Hi sall, I think those thick PSLE files are actual PSLE questions and detailed solution, though I am not sure if they cover the same questions as those published by SAP and EPH.

I think not publishing the entire PSLE paper has something to do with not releasing raw PSLE scores and the link of raw scores to grades (A*, A, ...), just my guess 🙂

Yes I got my answers here and I finally took a quick look at the PSLE booklet at Popular recently. It is too bad that MOE decides not to publish the exact PSLE papers. If I recall correctly, O and A level past year papers were available in the original format. Thanks 🙂

If you have the past year PSLE booklets (esp. consecutive years), you will find that the questions in there hardly change much…± a few new / old questions yearly. A ks friend informed me as she bought the booklet 1 year in advance and again last year. Even the oral and compo pix are the same.
