Do u think is it necessary for a P1 child to start from launchpad (already know how to read simple story book). Need your valuable advise. Thanks.

Isn’t launchpad a bit too easy for P1? But most prob they can let him join liftoff once he master the simple phonic. But liftoff needs another 33 weeks to finish. Hmmm, sounds a bit too late.

But for me, I tink is good to hv a good foundation. Does he has any problem in spelling?

I also feel it is very far behind if he has to start launchpad :yikes: and wasting of money and time too. Do u know how long does it takes to complete launchpad? He has no problem in his spelling in school. I really don't know how to help him to improve his English? Thanks.

I dun tink launchpad have the time frame. If teacher tink he can proceed, then he can go to next level.
U can try to borrow some DVD from the library, they have quite a no. of phonics. Let yr son learnt from there, then go for a 2nd test, maybe from there, he can start the liftoff instead. Recommended is the leapfrog.

Thanks for your recommendation. No time frame for launchpad, so he might take a few terms :yikes: By the time, it will be too late to go higher level.
