Hi, will like to check with parents from kcpps. Does anyone of you know whether SA paper for Primary 3 Chinese in 深广班 the same as the rest? According to our friend in other schools, the kids take different SA paper for the Chinese. Seems to have one more comprehension section for them to do if they are with the 深广班. Not sure whether this applies to Kuo Chuan?

it's the same paper as the rest. only in P5 and P6 there will be an extra higher chinese paper to sit for.

Dear KCPPS parents,


I am a new KCPPS parent, and my DS will be going to P1 in Jan 2011.
We have been going to the uniform vendor at Toa Payoh and the bookstore at the school premises to buy textbooks, uniforms and PE attire on several occasions.

However, much to our disappointment and anxiety, some books are out of stocks, uniforms are not ready (dont have the size, left our number and details, yet no 1 called us), and PE shorts out of stocks too! As at today, 29 Dec 2010.....unbelievable! We have been going personally and calling many times for the past 3 weeks.......

Is any one working at all at KCPPS?

The poorly managed school admin is giving new parents a lot of unnecessary and undue stress. My friends' kids going to other schools have already bought all their school items at the orientation itself...in a ready-pack, just pay up and go.

HELP!! Any new KCPPS parent in the same situation??

Paiseh, i have thrown away the booklist already, dont want to be reminded of the 'nightmare' of preparing for P1.

But, if I remembered correctly, the total amount is around S$150+/-, inclusive of all books and stationery, within acceptable range.

You keen to send your child to KCPPS in 2012?

u mean the past years' results for PSLE at KCPPS are worsening?

my hubs was fr yangzheng and we live within 1km of Yangzheng and 1-2km of KCPPS. Our eldest won't be gg to Pri Sch until a few more years down the road, but I am just beginning to monitor 'trends'.

can anyone let me know if both hubs and i are baptised christians in a presybterian church and living 1-2km of KCPPS, our boy will definitely get a place, even if we are not parent volunteers?

The best is u go check if ur baptism cert is accepted at kcpps presbyterian church.not sure if they r affiliated under phrase2b. Kcpps got close history if balloting at 1-2 n outside 2km.
