Dunno about fish tank in the room being no good. But seriously, why would anyone put a fish tank in the bedroom. So noisy and smelly.
yes, no water feature/aquarium in the bedroom,WCW:
got this in my email... just to share with everyone, dnt believe 100% ya

Never ever place fish tank in a bedroom . It is not advise to do that.
even painting with water is to avoid.
As for painting with water, base on my ba zi, the master told me to put a painting of the ocean in my bedroom. -

DH used to DIY a fish tank outside our corridor. he bought all the neccessary bricks & cement to do a mini pond & waterfall... he measure here, measure there... kept some giant goldfish...
but after abt half a yr, he heard a fs master say we cannot hv a fish tank/pond outside our hse cos our unit is facing another unit.... the wealth will flow away, so we heck down the pond & gave the goldfish to our cousin. -
There are many different schools of study for Feng Shui. The master I consulted uses the Wuxing method. According to him, I have too much wood so must avoid fire and need water. DH on the other hand has too much water, so he needs wood and earth. In checking the Feng Shui for our house, he said manโs main area is the living room while womanโs is the bedroom. So fengshui stuff placed in the living room will be based on manโs ba zi and the room will be based on the womanโs.
DH placed a small water feature in his office. The master told him to remove or he will see opportunities reaching his doorstep only to be washed away by the next wave. DH had been gunning for a transfer which was promised him time and again but did not materialise due to this or that reason. He removed the water feature and within that year, he got that transfer. Coincidence or really got to do with that little detail, we cannot say for sure. -
What about feng shui for the Kids? Like which direction shpuld they face when studying?
most preferred is to place the study table at \"sheng chi\" (sucess direction) of each individual calculated from their KUA number.
(u can google of how to derive each kua number)
best is the study room not to be located next to the toilet, esp the toilet bowl.
choose a sitting position which can view the entrance of the door.
i am no expert, but based on my own reading, study table facing the 'sheng chi' is not advisable for young children because it has something to do with too much energy for the young. it is better to face their 'fu wei' for young children.
however, whether one should still face one's good directions even if it is facing the tai shui, that one i am dunno. -

what one can do is to close the toilet door at all times.
yes. keep the toilet bowl lid down and close the toilet door. my children study room door faces toilet door. :slapshead: i get my kid to close the study door most of the times when he studies (also cos his bro is noisy in the living room) -

me no expert too, juz having the interest to read and explore FS.
ya, both \"sheng chi and fu wei\" direction are auspicious directions.....
i am not sure abt very young children, what u said could be right.....
for my gal.....the FS master's advice is to face her \"sheng chi\" direction
