RECOMMENDATION for Community Support Award
-
ksi:
I have recreated it for you in this thread or do you mean in the new link? And he has one supporter piggylalala now...still waiting for another. The other thing is if a nominee is created in the new link, how would we know as I do not see any W-I-P status, are they supposed to appear in the same list but status is support-in-progress?
Since MathIzzzfun only has 1 supporter, we cannot award yet based on the old rules. So his citation will have to fall under the new rules, ie. be properly created in the new list and allow supporters to sound their support by adding comments to that citation. We will monitor the seconders... when it reaches 5 supporters, we will award the nominee.ChiefKiasu:
Chief, how long will a nominee remain in the list to wait for people to support them? I remember MathIzzzfun has been nominated and supported by 1-2 persons, do we need to keep him in the to-be-commented-supported list until a certain period? Thanks.
ksi, can you create a proper citation for MathIzzzfun? I probably missed him in the deluge of posts. If he has already been accepted under the older 2 seconder scheme, then I will approve it immediately after you have put up his citation. Thanks. -
Feedback:
1. After creating a nominee in the link, how would anyone know there is anything pending?
2. Can the link to the list be made more prominent for access, otherwise gotta go to page 7 of this thread or bookmark it. -

You can post the link here. We will create a block on the homepage to list all nominees.Feedback:

:thankyou: ksi for nominating me for CSA. I'm pleasantly surprised, didn't expect it at all. I feel very happy when others are inspired and encouraged by my own stories and sharings. Maybe it's becos I've been thru very tough times in life, and I'd like to give hope and encouragement to others so that they will also see light at the end of a tunnel.

We have created it and reorganised the blocks on the page. It now lists the approval status, along with the number of comments on the node to give some indication of the level of support so far.

Note that each time a CSA is created, a link is created on the nominee's Profile page that points directly to that citation.
Much as I believe that those nominated so far deserve the recognition, I have to play the independent administrator and keep my mouth shut. Let the community decide! -

I think the community has been silent too long on showing its appreciation for your posts, Angelight. You definitely deserved the nomination. -
Thanks, chief. Really touched by your appreciation.
