just called up north vista pri school n they are fixing a date for school tours for parents. no children allowed. most likely will be on weekdays. those who are interested can call the the school n leave down ur contacts so they’ll contact u once they’ve fix the date

Hi need your advice , my house will be ready only in 2014 . Check with MOE they say can register with the new house address. But Nan Chiau pri is within 1-2km from my place . Any idea chances of going in as we’re not memeber or PV .Will fall under phrase 2C. If not any school to recommend ? I can look at hougang area also , any advise on Yio Chu Kang pri? Mont fort is also within 1km but seems like not so popular , any kids studying there parents can advise. Never know so headache to register my son to Pri 1 .

For the past few years, Nan Chiau only conducted balloting for those staying within 1 km from the school in P2C. Hence, it's as good as saying you can forget about the school.

Sigh thats sad , tot within 1-2 still have slight chance . totally do not have to try ? Any other school you can recommend ? My address is at compassvale bow.

In answer to your question, yes, don't need to try Nan Chiau. Have at least 2 schools in your plan, and monitor the situation in Nan Chiau. Not likely to be optimistic at Nan Chiau, though, so, don't place your hopes too high.

Hello, everyone.

This is my first post.. please pardon me for direct questions here.
Hope that more experienced parents can advice..

My situation..
My boy is slightly unique.. he is slightly ADHD, but we were told he can attend conventional school.
He used to have behavior problems, like getting agitated when disturbed by his sister, or things don't go thru the usual routine.
We spent a lot of effort correcting and training him.
He is much better now, but sometimes still breaks loose.. lose concentration, doesn't listen until we repeated our instructions multiple times. He likes talk to people (too friendly that we had to keep reminding him not to talk to strangers!) :slapshead:
He also likes to run around.. we are very worried he'll just run off never come back
Academically, he is good, and is very good with music. He's actually going for Grade 1 piano next month.

Now, the school..
I stay within 1-2km of Anchorgreen and Nan Chiau.
My wife heard from neighbor that Compassvale is good also.
But would the schools (or any in Sengkang) have student support for kids like mine?

Any advice is welcome..Thank you..

i am in complete dilenma - my son is due for registration to p1 this july under phrase 2 c. we are within 1km of nan chiau, compassvale and rivervale - all the top three in sengkang - but all these top three need balloting, which one should we go for it…anyone have same dilenma as us ???
