Welcome. My DS did not have any extra lesson after school for the first half year. He is a ICT Ambassador so do need to stay back a couple of time to attend training. Other than that, he goes home everyday on time :-). CCA for P1 in TGPS is optional so I did not let my DS sign up yet. Furthermore, the school work load is considered light when I compare to his friends attending other schools around here. He only has to bring back homework during the weekend (a few worksheets per subjects) and he told me that the students were given time to complete their work at school during school hours. So my DS still enjoying his ‘honeymoon’ year in TGPS this year so much so that I am kind of kiasu and wonder should I get him some additional assessment books or enrichment class to do. Are you considering TGPS for your kid at this year P1 registeration?

ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology. The kids are trained in Cyber Wellness, what to share and what not to share on internet.

TGPS typically has open house middle of the year. You can visit the school during the open house to see if you like what you see.

Yes, bring your child to the school openhouse, feel free to ask the teachers about questions/doubts that you may have and get a better insights from them. This will definitely helps you in decision making.

Oh I did not receive any mailer from the school about open house this Sat. Hmm needto check with DS later. He sometimes is blur like a sotong:-). Do you know what program they will have at the open house?

DS has injection today. Hope all P1 kids were doing well for that and not traumatized by the injection :-).

I saw the open house banner at the gate this morning when i sent my chdren to school. So far, also did not recvd mailer from the school, so probably they gave to those whom have younger siblings...:P

My DS had his medical check and injection last week, think was Thursday or Friday.
