All About Vacuum Cleaner

Yes, u r rite! My ex-maid use the vaccum cleaner recklessly. She simply pull the vaccum cleaner around w/o looking out for my furniture... paint came off from the table legs and parts of the wood got small holes.... all thanks to her.
Ya, mine also will just pull the vacuum cleaner by force and hit my wall and furniture! -
$838 for the iclebo is really ex, i recently bought a iRobot roomba for around $500 from autovacstore.com and it came with a 1 year warranty, still trying it out though. But i am really surprised by the amount of fine dust it picks up in its filters, cos i actually do clean my house regularly.
I am considering the iRobot scooba now. Anyone used it before? Anyway, the delivery guy was really friendly and helpful too, he did a demostration of the scooba and showed me how dirty the water was after a cleaning cycle. But i am still considering it due its higher cost (around $700) and its seems unable to reach the corners of the rooms as its round-shaped. Anyone used it before, could kindly provide some feedback? -

iclebo is 2-in-1, sweeping and mopping whereas Roomba and Scooba are 2 different machines, so nett nett, irobot is actually more expensive, total $1200 versus iclebo $838.$838 for the iclebo is really ex, i recently bought a iRobot roomba for around $500 from autovacstore.com and it came with a 1 year warranty, still trying it out though. i actually did some research about the iclebo, before buying the roomba 560, just felt that it doesn't actually mop the floor, just uses a mirco fiber cloth to wipe the floor, the scooba actually uses cleaning solution and it vacuums and squeakies the surface, seems like it leaves the floors cleaner. Anyway, i saw the iclebo at the it show, seems like its of poor plastic quality. Read on some forum, here's a comparison u may useful http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1417413
Anyway I saw a demonstration of the scooba from autovacstore.com at my home and the guy actually used dettol floor solution in the scooba, seems like by doing so, could kill more bacteria and germs. He said that although irobot recommends that you use their specified cleaning solution, i could use dettol or kleen floor detergent, but i just had to rinse the tanks throughly after use and it would not void the warranty. Actually i just like the scooba's principle of laying only cleaning solution on the floor, as it stores the dirty solution in a separate tank and i could witness how dirty the water was after cleaning, kind of felt some satisfaction in that. hehe. -
Thanks for your information sharing, very informative indeed. The only issue I have now is the iclebo current is the latest model I think iclebo smart and the reviews are all the older models. I think that was why atrecord needed to put up this post for new reviews. I am also toying between iclebo and irobot…I think I need to see a demo of both machines before I can decide as well.

Neato robot
Anyone here used this Neato Robot before? Read some reviews, seems to be very advanced, with the laser sensing and all. Anyone can provide any reviews. I read an interesting review comparing the Roomba with it here. http://autovacstore.com/cms.php?id_cms=14
But would like to get some advice from other who actually used it. -
Just bought Iclebo and I am going to discard my 3 yes old roomba . Waiting for it to charge now ... Will post a comparison once I finish trying out my new toy

Iclebo is indeed smarter than Irobot. It has mapping navigation function and can easily find it's way to the base in a few seconds without bumping onto any furniture.
After using Irobot for 3 yrs and Iclebo for half a day this is wat I think :
1. Vacuum- Iclebo is slightly quieter than Roomba 530
-Iclebo take shorter time to clean my room as it's more
systematic in it's navigation
-Iclebo dun bump onto furniture or doors
-Roomba has a virtual wall which make it easier to partition a room that u wanna to vacuum especially for house that have open concept kitchen
2.Handling- prefer Roomba coz it has a handle on top so turning the machine over its easy
3.Maintance- Irobot needs to go for servicing every half a year ( cost $50+ per trip when warranty expire)
- according to Iclebo salesman no servicing is required as the machine is air tight so dirt will not be trap at the motor.
4. Cost - Irobot is cheaper
Additional plus point for Iclebo is the on site warranty and the mopping function ( not comparable with scooba )
The mopping is more suitable for my house as my room flooring are parquet
n dun think can use scooba as water get in the gap. I have a crawling baby so Iclebo mopping just serve as a dettol wipe . :imanangel:
Btw there is a 5%discount if recommend 3 ppl to buy n additional 5%more if can get 10 ppl ( all the ppl in the gp will get the discount)I already got my 4 ppl in my gp can pm me if u need the discount  -
Iclebo is slightly thicker than Irobot and can't fit under my sofa :slapshead:
