When my mil moved into a new flat, she started complaining her chest doesn’t feel comfortable. ( she’s the type to exaggerate to get attention) So the filial children got a fengshui man to check the house. The fengshui man looked out of the window and declared : the opposite block is like a knife that poked thru the heart of the mil. Then he looked out another window and declared: the other block is like an axe that chop the mil heart. Then he declared an area near the window has a lot of wealth, so put a big vase there to collect wealth.

Now , which block in S’pore does not have other blocks around it? If there’s an area of wealth, then everyone just put huge containers there and wait for wealth, no need to work already.
Later, it turned out that mil started on some new medication which is not suitable, so when she stopped taking them, she’s back to normal.
Certain aspects of fengshui is very practical and good to take note of. eg, we shouldn’t have clutter or leave sharp objects lying around etc…
But I think we shouldn’t depend on fengshui master to move furniture to change fortune etc.

                    maybe she meant 'smelly'(hokkien) 'zhao pai'(招牌).....\"chao\"+\"zhao pai\" = \"chao pai\"

                      Funz:
There are many different schools of study for Feng Shui. The master I consulted uses the Wuxing method. According to him, I have too much wood so must avoid fire and need water. DH on the other hand has too much water, so he needs wood and earth. In checking the Feng Shui for our house, he said man's main area is the living room while woman's is the bedroom. So fengshui stuff placed in the living room will be based on man's ba zi and the room will be based on the woman's.

DH placed a small water feature in his office. The master told him to remove or he will see opportunities reaching his doorstep only to be washed away by the next wave. DH had been gunning for a transfer which was promised him time and again but did not materialise due to this or that reason. He removed the water feature and within that year, he got that transfer. Coincidence or really got to do with that little detail, we cannot say for sure.
Hi, what is the name of your Feng Shui Master? Can let me know? Thanks.

\" I got this guy who I seen and at least very easily to communicate to. No buying of any stuffs.

Notice he quote not low but after a fortune telling session he cannot resist and give a very good price. One thing that attracted me is his fortune telling, very logical and scientific and he actually dare to give me general reading even month by month. :rahrah: :boogie: \"
