My gal’s class has a boy pretty weak, so the teacher has put 2 stronger kids beside him to help him. The teacher has also spoken to the mum and the mum engaged tutor for all subjects. She attended tuition with her boy, learned and reinforced his learning. So far showing improvement.

P1 only. So the tutor can cater to all subjects for the boy. 3 times a week + mum's coaching for homework. I think he is also attending an external Chinese course (either Berry or Eduplus, can't remember).

He has an elder brother in same sch too - not doing too well. Also home tutors for all subjects. Parents can't really teach them, and mum can only handle a little lower primary coaching.

                    GSK:
Frankly speaking, a bit immuned, maybe recently quite busy with my work, so tat's why u see me \"disappear\"

After the GE boundaries issue, so happy with those that has put into the voluntary work not being wasted (even thou this may not guarantee a place). But now with this unexpected issue, again unfairness for those voluntary. Why can't decide to announce it before the school decided how many PVs to get or at least voluntary ppl are prepared for the worst. Is a bit too sudden news, but looks like only ME urggghhhhh.
There's still hope that the schools did take into account of the reduction in classes when they decided how many PVs to accept

From Phase 2B (PV, association, grassroot, etc.) onwards, there is uncertainty. No guarantee you will get a place, becos there is uncertainty in numbers, however the school manage for PV. With sudden increase in grassroot / clan / church members, this becomes \"uncontrollable\" situation.

Look at the case of CHS last year, who would expect phase 2B to be 500% application within 1km? πŸ˜“ So after the 100% success in Phase 2B, the other 400% unsuccessful will move to Phase 2C (afterall they are within 1km) and add in more applications from within 1km in Phase 2C...... :nailbite:

Console ourselves that we have tried our best and have to leave the rest to fate. If we manage to get our kids into these schools, hopefully it \"secure\" a place for our grandkids too :rotflmao: We work for our future generations
