All About Vacuum Cleaner

Anyone tried the Neato Vx-11, seems to be smarter than the Irobot roomba in some reviews from the US. It doesn’t require much maintenance of brushes and has a Laser-based Room Positioning System sees everything in the room, avoids bumping into walls and furniture. Retails for around $599 with local warranty and free delivery. much cheaper than the iclebo, seems to be just as smart or smarter and cleans well too.

After warranty ends they still do on-site service with no extra transport cost or service cost , just need to pay for the parts that need to b change.
In case anyone's wondering, there is a one year warranty for on-site maintenance. But lazy me would of course prefer that everything goes well n need not call for maintenance.
The sale ppl also told me they would loan us a robot in case your robot repair need more than 1 day :rahrah: -

I actually wouldn't consider the navibot, firstly, the price is very much higher than a iRobot Roomba and the Neato Vx-11(the only Robot which seems to be comparable to the Roomba in the US) and i have heard that the suction power is very very weak, its basically a sweeper. maybe this review can help you. http://www.robotreviews.com/chat/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=13492 anyway, I recently purchased the iRobot Roomba 560 for $529 from http://www.autovacstore.com, really happy with results, picks up a ton of fine dust and i feel healthy too with lesser allergens in my home!! Hope you make the right choice. Cheers to cleaner homes!! -

Thanks for your reply. I am very interested after reading all these robots in the forum. I am looking for one that can vacuum and mop. With Roomba I still need to buy the Scooba. Need to seriously review all of them.
Thank you for all who posted their experiences to share. Appreciated very much. -
Is it Delphin or Dolphin? Where can I get them?

Beware !!!
Mrs Neo = Mr Autovac ? :scratchhead: -
Mrsneo:
i actually did some research about the iclebo, before buying the roomba 560, just felt that it doesn't actually mop the floor, just uses a mirco fiber cloth to wipe the floor, the scooba actually uses cleaning solution and it vacuums and squeakies the surface, seems like it leaves the floors cleaner. Anyway, i saw the iclebo at the it show, seems like its of poor plastic quality. Read on some forum, here's a comparison u may useful http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1417413
Anyway I saw a demonstration of the scooba from autovacstore.com at my home and the guy actually used dettol floor solution in the scooba, seems like by doing so, could kill more bacteria and germs. He said that although irobot recommends that you use their specified cleaning solution, i could use dettol or kleen floor detergent, but i just had to rinse the tanks throughly after use and it would not void the warranty. Actually i just like the scooba's principle of laying only cleaning solution on the floor, as it stores the dirty solution in a separate tank and i could witness how dirty the water was after cleaning, kind of felt some satisfaction in that. hehe.

Why you say mrs neo is autovac? i don’t really understand. I’m the only guy representing autovacstore so please approach me if anyone is using spoiling my name. Thanks
