The school time start from 8am and ends at 2:45pm which is what I like.
For my daughter, her class form teacher will email to parents to update on any instructions, school work, important messages, etc.
Parents will get the info even their child failed to inform them.
I would recommend NVTPS to parents who can’t decide which school to choose but let see whether they will have balloting this year! -
In 2010, phase 2C was left with 7 places, so can try!
To my understanding, a few students had transferred out as their parents don’t like this new teaching system after a few mths. They preferred the old traditional system with exam in P1. -
Do not make the mistake to gamble and register in Nan Chiau, ballot out then try the next best school of your choice, ballot out again! You will not able to sleep in peace! Why stress yourself!
That’s my view for consideration only!

I’m within 2km from north vista but ILs take care of my kids while I’m at work at BIL’s house at Aspella. Based on past years, no need ballot. So wondering if this year will be "hotter" & d I need to declare BIL’s residential address for better chance? If so, when should I do it? After online registration result is out?

NV is very near my home within 1km… so with NC… am hoping to get NC but if fail, the NV… NV is quite new right?

yup. it'll b their 1st psle results this yr. kinda late... by the time they announce their results, the registrations r already over
im wondering how they prepare for the upcoming psle since its new teaching methods. i also heard that some parents transfer their child out of the school but anyone know the main reason?? i did consider NV since im within 2KM, kinda like their new teaching method n best of all, single sessions. considering yck, xinghua or NV. NV still cant confirm whether they're having open house/school tours. -
My DD P1 in NV tis yr. Lots of assignments posted on the website to complete during the June holidays. The form teacher has been quite responsive as she sets up various mode of communication with the parents through sms, emails and a twitter account for the class. So far, still manageable.

I agreed with sctan. I even complain to her teacher that too much home work were given in some days.
To me, it is ok to fail in their test, exam, etc. It is the learning path for the child to take failure as a lesson and learn from there! Understand why they fail and not to make the same mistake again. I do not want my child to grow up with good academic result but cannot take failure in their life.
It is just my own opinion.
