Thks snowyqueen. Her maths and Sci results is a surprise. Maths has always been her weakest subject but somehow for this exam she managed to do very well. We both agreed that it's divine intervention, God's grace shown

As for Science, we actually didn't hv time to complete P3 topics, so, thankfully most of the qns were frm P4 topics, a lot of qns from Heat and Light. The notes from the sci tr helped a lot when I was revising with her.

Her EL and CL results are consistent. On the whole, I am very proud of the hardwork she had put in and the results she had gotten :snuggles:

Any info. abt the top performer? Do you know how many got Band 1 for all the subjects…need to concern lah else too far behind liao!

This yr the form teacher is the CL teacher so she doesn’t have all the info. I didn’t ask the individual tr either, so no info this yr.

Hi ziltransformer, if I were u, I’d opt for CHIJ OLQP over the other 2, as yr dd will hv an affiliated sec school. The other 2 schools hv affiliation for boys only if I’m not wrong.

hw does the affiliation work? is it as long as achieved a min pt & nt so tedious as compared to other student?

CHIJ OLQP is affiliated to St. Theresa's Convent (STC). Girls from the 2 feeder primary schools (CHIJ OLQP & Kellock) need to attain at least 200 in their PSLE t-score to get into STC Express Stream.


Whilst students from non-affliated schools need to score at least 230 (as of last year's Sec 1 posting).

I am a newbie daddy. Just wondering if your girls are attending the St Joseph’s Church Student Care. Received info that it is closing down in Nov’11. Any nearby student care for recommendation? I believe many students will be affected and we as parents are just as anxious looking around for student care. Perhaps we can enrol together and form a new club.
