no leh, donch think results will be announce on the 29 jul leh.... think will still wait till 05 aug for the overall results, irregardless of whtr balloting needed or nt.

If the school requires balloting for those staying 1-2 km, and you are within 1 km, you know that your child is in. Don't have to wait till 05 Aug.
27 Jul to submit registration, in case, missing documents, i have 2 days to run ard to sort it 😛

29 Jul, to check with the school on how many parents are within 1km

is 5th Aug, compulsory? Yikes, i thought it is required if balloting is required

Kissgurami, tis is really the SUPER KS MODE!! :rotflmao:

U mean they can tell u on 29 Jul hw many parents registered r within 1km meh? N if no ballot, the results will be on 29 Jul itself?

Shit! :stupid: Suddenly got so many qns marks in my head...

no leh, donch think results will be announce on the 29 jul leh.... think will still wait till 05 aug for the overall results, irregardless of whtr balloting needed or nt.
Yes, sch can infm you how many applicants towards end of last day of application (except those that turn up last min). They can then inform you if ballot is needed, and for <1km / 1-2km / >2km, how many to ballot for how many vacancies. Eg. 20 vancancies - 15 taken up by <1km, 5 vacancies for 12 applicants between 1-2km, beyond 2km no chance. So later on a stipulated date, sch will conduct ballot for the 12 applicants for the 5 vacancies. You can turn up for the ballot and and know if you are successful. Those within 1km will be confirmed successful.

Hope this helps to clarify queries about the results known / not known at last day of registration.

i prefer to register immediately on the 27 - get it over & done with, then 29 kaypo abit , pop down to the sch & look at the results.. so far...

then 05 aug its balloting... :nailbite:

Like tat ah.. den i may consider to take leave on 27 Jul, 29 Jul n 5 Aug if neccessary.. :xedfingers:
Early registration no prize hor. You can take leave on 29 Jul half day afternoon, go register and hang around till end to know the outcome. If need to ballot, then take another half day on 5 Aug. No need to take 3 days leave la.....you will be hanging around doing nothing and wondering why.

so means to say as long as i stay within 1km of the school, i’ll defintely stand a chance during the balloting process?

does this mean i may nt even have to attend the balloting?

Yes, within 1km you may go in straight without ballot, or may have to ballot depending on the number. But definitely higher chance than those beyond 1km who may / may not even have chance to ballot. Whether to turn up for ballot is up to you, but I would say most will turn up to know results 1st hand so as to be able to strategise for plan B if needed 😉 .

Just for your info, any missing document they do not allow for registration. All required document has to be in-place, and they will not request for additional other documents until you are successful.
