Same here :rant: Asked him the whole afternoon if he had homework to complete and he told me he has completed. Last night at 10, he said he had Chinese 习字 to complete. Then I asked him if he had completed Math tuition hw...he said not yet :mad: (tuition on Sat). He had the cheek to say I didn't remind him. I reminded him the RULE is that tuition hw must be completed on the SAME day as tuition. Obviously he is still in dreamland.

Chinese 习字 is the Simplest hw to do ....
So Don't Stress yourself out

My Gal Often finish her hw sometime around 10pm to 12 midnite. So for upper Pri, it's OK ....

Chinese 习字, Spelling no issue for me...anyway, I've hands-off his school hw since last yr. Don't finish them, get punished. It's becos he delays doing school hw and not get my assessment done that makes me angry.

I only have myself. DH will not be in town most prob during registration. No backup for backup cos I understand that BVPS will also be filled up by phase 2c supp.

In fact, we have been praying since last year. DS prays himself cos he insists on PH, but we did prepare him that he may not be able to get in.

I will tell myself that as a mum, I have tried my best.

You have a very determined kid.

PHPPS gets an early cut. Nanyang will be cutting from 2013.

Sama sama. Btw, how long does your ds sleep each day? I know that children grow when they sleep. My ds only sleeps 8 hrs a day, which looks like not enough.

Yea ... they grow in height if they sleep more. Mine sleep more than 8 each day. Next year will be more challenging when she move to morning sessions.

Kids are like hubby, they hate to read and I am worried how they will possibly improve in English.
When hubby buys new gadget, be it mobile phone or whatever...he will wacky until he gets the hang of it.

I love to read, it's a form of relaxation for me.. so it's super frustrating when the rest of the family doesn't and honestly I find reading the best form of gaining knowledge... till this day, my sons do not speak in complete sentences.. I always ask DS how on earth can his frens understand what he says when there r times even I have no idea what he is talking about!! I just got DS a comic book to try to get him to read.. and his reply was 'huh?? more hw arh?' :faint:

Does being a SAHM = to more time for the child? I m q amazed that your children can squeeze in so much activities.. esp Funx3.. tuition, cca, assessment. sports.. DS is only at p1.. and I m struggling to fit in more without him collapsing.. any secret formula to share?

DH says it's bcos we stay too far n spend alot of time travelling.. but we do get home by 715pm latest every night. dinner and ds sleeps at 9.30pm.. so difficult to do more than hw in that 2hrs.. how do you fit in family time?

I don't think so, almost no chance liao.
They will start balloting for those within 1 km so those between 1-2km might not even have chance.

During my dd time (2 yrs ago), 1-2km have to ballot but back then they have 360 places.
