I don't think so, almost no chance liao.
They will start balloting for those within 1 km so those between 1-2km might not even have chance.

During my dd time (2 yrs ago), 1-2km have to ballot but back then they have 360 places.

I can never do that. It breaks my heart to see ds miserable. As long as he does his work daily, I'm fine with the order of things.

It would get more interesting as your ds progress to upper level.

Does being a SAHM = to more time for the child? I m q amazed that your children can squeeze in so much activities.. esp Funx3.. tuition, cca, assessment. sports.. DS is only at p1.. and I m struggling to fit in more without him collapsing.. any secret formula to share?

DH says it's bcos we stay too far n spend alot of time travelling.. but we do get home by 715pm latest every night. dinner and ds sleeps at 9.30pm.. so difficult to do more than hw in that 2hrs.. how do you fit in family time?

My Gal only Attend a Chinese Writing Class, Once a Week. No Tuition.
Guess that's why Got More time to Pursue her interest in other CCA's.
Her Main Sch Task is .... Complete HW for the Day!
And Most Revision is .... Done in Sch by T during Class ....

So Far I Only Buy Past year Papers for her to try ....
And that is just b4 exam, and Selective Q only ....
My Family Time With my Gal is Often Spent in front of TV, Sharing Jokes and Plots in the Drama Series from 8pm to 10pm ....
While she Multitask to Do her HW ....
And Learning Chinese Proverbs (these abounds thru all the Drama Series ....) at the same time ....

This boy really gets on my nerves. Insisted to follow me to buy groceries last night. Came back around 9pm, then tell me got a SS assignment to do :frustrated:

This happens to mine too, consolation is at least he tells you. Better than he keeps quiet and you get it from teacher as in the form of complaints :slapshead:

I love to read, it's a form of relaxation for me.. so it's super frustrating when the rest of the family doesn't and honestly I find reading the best form of gaining knowledge... till this day, my sons do not speak in complete sentences.. I always ask DS how on earth can his frens understand what he says when there r times even I have no idea what he is talking about!! I just got DS a comic book to try to get him to read.. and his reply was 'huh?? more hw arh?' :faint:

Mine wakes up at 8am. Start work at 8:30am till her assigned work is done then she has her free time till 10:30am where she starts her piano practise till 11:15am before preparing for school.

At night, she starts work at 8pm till 9:30pm. Free time till 10pm before she eats her snack, wash up and get ready for bed and devotion.

For lower primary, encourage them to finish the homework in school if possible.

I reminded him the RULE is that tuition hw must be completed on the SAME day as tuition. Obviously he is still in dreamland.

I tried attempting this rule before....but it never works. So to keep myself insane, my rule changes. As long as get it done before next tuition and don't let complaints come directly to mummy, it's fine :heresmyfish:
