Want to recommend a good book I've read before - \"Toxic In-Laws: Loving Strategies for Protecting Your Marriage\" - to all here cos I realised the in-laws thread is one of the longest on this forum.


The book is by Dr Susan Forward.

I seriously think I need to read this book to get over what SIL has done/is doing. Shall find the book and read it when she comes to my house :evil:

Mummy of 2, you shld read the book. The author even specified the different types of 'toxic' in-laws and what strategies you can use to deal with them. Plus real-life examples too.

i had just finished Sophie Kinsella, Twenties Girl. Whenever i was holding the book, friends will laugh at me said u r still in ur 20s? well, this book doesnt mean for 20 year old girls. It means the girl in 1920s. Love the twist at the end of the story and how the girl get to know better on her past away great grand aunt. Great book should read it.
