Anyway, now I know P5 Science CA/SA will cover everything from P3.

Get a PSLE science revision guide. It will work. I'm sorry, but maybe I can't give advice on Science coz I revise in a totally different way. Ermm... as in I dun go and memorise concepts until I'm half dead coz I ermm... NVM...

NVM...[/quote]I have 3 Science guide books...the latest copy is I-Science, slim version as the other 2 are rather thick and wordy. I don't get him to memorize concepts as there is too much. Expose him to past year exam papers and some questions in assessment books. For Science & Math, it's all about practice.

Do u realize that your P1 dd has been re-grouped during her Chinese lesson? I know they are re-grouped based on their SA1 Chinese result. How to know they are studying foundation or normal or higher Chinese now? :? Has the chinese teacher give out the spelling list yet? Thanks.

P1 girls have been regrouped. Daughter tells me she goes to Violet for her Chinese lessons. They are still taking normal Chinese.
CL spelling list is out. First spelling is on 6/7.

I don't think they stream them into HMT or foundation so soon.

Hi Janet,
Science demands the most memory work but I agree that memorising everything is way too difficult. Does your son draw up mindmaps based on the guides? I guess that'll work better than memorising like a memory machine.

I have no idea...don't think her Chinese is that good to be in the best class.
