The PSG is for students already enrolled in SV. For yet-to-be SVPS parents....refer to the CCK thread in Pri Sch Selection/Registration.

Or u may post your questions here regarding the sch...some parents lurking this thread may be able to provide some info 🙂

Just heard from MP Gan that SV will be going single session next year?

Is it true? Any advise from mummies here whose kids are studying there already? Need to make some arrangements for all my kids…

As at this moment, SV will likely be going single session only in 2016. However, the school is scheduled for on-site upgrading end 2012 and expect to last 1 or 2 years. The upgrading may afford the transition to single session earlier but definitely not next year nor the year after.

                Thank you…

I suspect the reason why he mentioned that was due to the renovation that will take place next year… as renovation works can only be done in the day… thus… all need to move to single session in order for the renovation to effect… just a thought…

                  Don’t mention it.

The upgrading works will be done on-site with no change to single session. There aren’t enough classrooms to accommodate all the pupils from both sessions : )

Castle House, under what circumstances did Mr Gan say that? I'm very keen to know what cause him to say this thing ....

school nor parents all say no way to go single session in the near future, and upgrading to existing premises is only end next yr and school seems to have no idea what kind of upgrading work is going to happen.

He mentioned that when he was doing his house-to-house visit.. and we happened to talk about ds will be registering for P1 this year..

So, he mentioned SV will be going single session next year.. thus the drop in this year vacancies.. to get ready for the transition.. 🤷
