      FOR RI DSA

I am quite clear about the RI DSA process for GE Domain
      1) CA1+SA1 >80% - No need to take GAT test. Need to go for one interview only. (Then go to BiBi Baba and buy uniform..haha)
      2) CA1+SA1 <80% - Need to take GAT test AND interview. Regardless how well or bad the students perform in GAT, the students will call up for interview. (Then go home and pray hard)

For the mainstream RI DSA process

      it is as follow :

For e.g. a student apply for math domain
      1st step - Take GAT
2nd step - If perform well in GAT and short listed, then go for half day selection test. Which is a 3 hours test paper.

3rd step - go home and wait for result.

If no news after taken GAT, that means not short listed.

After selection test is done, they will inform you asap you are successful or not

This is confirmed correct as at 2010 because my DS went through it

        Dear all ,

I think ri will not email to shortlisted applicants today as I called up many times but nobody answer the call. It might be closed today!
I think today all singapore school is closed. Youth day. :rahrah:

            Hi verykiasu2010

You mean your DS need not required to go for interview after the half day selection test. I mean not immedately after the selection test, but after he is short listed?

Is there any exception? That means need to go for interview after shortlisted from the half day selection test?

300 pages back in this thread, :yikes: which is for last year batch of DSA, it was mentioned that there was no interview for mainstream for RI, just written test only. From RI website this year, no mention of interview also for mainstream.

But last year on RI web site, it did not mentioned the \"Half Day Selection\" test.

Let see is there any interview for this year shortlisted applicants.

You are confusing everyone here. So, has RI emailed / not emailed you? If RI has emailed you on the selection test, then you have a chance. If RI has not emailed you, sit tight as so far no one has mentioned about receiving any emails from RI as yet.

Anyway, I think you should take this DSA just as an experience and not be too affected by the outcome, whatever it is. PSLE is still the ultimate goal!

I am very apologetic for the confusion I caused. I meant that i Have asked ri about the test dates and so on and what i had mentioned earlier was their reply. Still, very sorry! :scratchhead:
